So, how many of you remember the Yellow Line dispute? Yeah. Same thing is happening here, but will TriMet acknowledge this? No. They'll ignore it to create their beloved Milwaukie MAX line, dubbed the Orange Line, no matter what the cost. The general notion of the people around this new light rail line has been 'we don't want it'. Heeeelllllllloooo TriMet, getting the message yet? No? Well go on, build this light rail line, let us watch the train wreck called the Orange Line be put in and let us watch all the other cuts you'll make to bus service and other things like the Operator's health care benefits just so you can have your MAX that will most likely later end up with service cut after cut. Ah, gotta love TriMet's management.
