SW 20th and Salmon bus stop. Basically, i got bored waiting for the 51 so i took this picture.
It has been hard to get good pictures these days because it gets dark so early and most days I'm in school until almost 5:45pm and my camera doesn't like the dark. Excuses, excuses, I know...well, i'll work at getting more pix, but they won't come at a regular basis (not that they were in the first place because i was always forgetting).
51, 63, Washington Park Shuttle...hate those two last ones. Cut the 51's service harshly when it actually gets used and keep the 63 that hardly ever gets used...but thats a rant for another day...

TRUTH
I am tired of newspaper reporters that don't know their ass from their mouth. Below is a rebuttal to an article posted in the Oregonian today about the Tri-Met and what it's drivers receive in benefits and wages."
"I am a spouse of a Tri-met bus driver and I think the question Mr. Rose and others should be asking is not why Tri-Met has such good insurance (as a result of not having a wage increase for 12 years by the way), but why everyone else doesn’t. The bus drivers that make $90,000 a year work upwards of 60 hours a week. Most drivers work 10 and 11 hour shifts, and for that service they are spit on, yelled at, flipped off, have their buses peed on and deal with every kind of insult you can imagine. Not to mention that a bus driver’s lifespan is less than 65 years. They have a bad back from sitting all day. They have high blood pressure, blood clots and a plethora of other health concerns. They earn every penny they work for."
