Service Alert on the Hawthorne Bridge due to Occupy Portland
There are still some minor delays and detours on buses near the Hawthorne Bridge. Riders should check http://trimet.org/a or call 503-238-RIDE to find out if there are service delays due to Occupy Portland.
Line 6 back to detour:
#trimet #6 outbound due to blockage, buses are regular route to Columbia and 4th, left 4th, right Madison, to 2nd then regular route.
Apparently there are some people out there who actually support that mutant teletubby baby-faced deer
Daily Blog > Let’s save the giant baby-faced deer statue!
And in other news, that thing still gives me the creeps and I am so glad it's gone.
So now can we stop seeing it in pictures? It looks scary.

Don’t leave disabled riders high and dry
If Boring is allowed to withdraw from the TriMet service area, the LIFT service will lose local funding. That would leave those folks with no public transportation option except for expensive taxi services.
